Ingredients
- ½ cup rolled oats
- ½ cup cow milk/almond milk
- ½ tsp coconut sugar
- sprinkle of sea salt
- 1 Tbs cinnamon
- 1 tsp chia seeds (optional)
- 1 large ripe banana
- 2 Tbs Peanut butter or other nut butter
Directions
- Add the rolled oats, milk, coconut sugar and sea salt to a pot and stir to combine.
- Let the mix sit for 5 minutes.
- Mash one banana and add it to the pot.
- Heat over medium heat for 8-10 minutes or until all the liquid has been absorbed. Be sure to stir the oats several times while cooking to make sure the banana melts into the oats and the chia seeds don’t clump.
- Cook until the liquid is absorbed, and the oats are thick and fluffy.
- Add peanut butter and sprinkle with more cinnamon before serving if desired.
